Aqua Sphere open water training for Enea IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw

Aqua Sphere Open Water in Poland for Enea IM 5150 Warsaw

As in previous years, the organizers of Enea IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw in Poland and the Aqua Sphere brand are inviting athletes to an open water training course. The swim training session will be held on 22 May in Białobrzegi, ahead of the IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw event on 10 June.

The Aqua Sphere Open Water training session is primarily geared at athletes preparing for Enea IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw as well as other triathlon competitions – with a focus on practicing swimming in open water, and in race start conditions.

The organising team at Enea IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw notes that swimming in open water is for many participants the most difficult part of the triathlon. Natalia Jędrzejczyk, spokesperson for Enea IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw said “That’s why, as in every year, we invite you to a training session where you can learn start-up techniques, booming and good navigation, which is crucial at this stage of the competition.”

She continued to point out that coach “Sebastianem Karasiem willingly shares his vast knowledge and experience, so it is worth taking advantage of his advice.”

The training will take place at the Rewita WDW Rynia holiday resort, the venue for this year’s Enea IRONMAN 5150 Warsaw in June. Heading up the coaching team is Polish athlete Sebastianem Karasiem who specializes in open water swimming. He has around 50 medals at the Polish Championships in all age categories, crossing the English Channel (41 km) in 8 hours and 48 minutes, the Hel-Gdynia event (20 km) and is the first man to swim 100 km through the Baltics, from Kołobrzeg to Bornholm.

Each participant of the training session receives a swim cap and the opportunity to test Aqua Sphere products. A maximum of 125 people can participate in the training. The fee for participation is PLN 25.
