Endurance sport TV production firm, Dream Team Television is maintaining its momentum in 2018, with a raft of specialist programs for endurance sport athletes/fans distributed across a variety of channels. The company has also been buoyed by research from the Triathlon Industry Association (TIA), which points to the reach of television as a medium for multisport athletes engaging with endurance sport content.
The TIA survey of over 5300 athletes was produced by MultiSport Research and found that over 60% of respondents viewed endurance sport content via television at least on a monthly basis.

Where has 2018 gone? We find ourselves already mid-way through the year, and what an exciting year it has been so far with regard to triathlon and endurance sport in general. Dream Team Television started their season off in March, bringing the best of the UK and Europe’s action to the small screen through their continued partnership with Channel 4, with the Maraton del Meridiano and Challenge Wanaka produced in collaboration with Global Production Partners, Kinetic Media and Kikazaru Productions.
Fortunately for regular viewers of programmes, the 2018 season sees Dream Team continue to work with some fantastic event organisers on a number of familiar events. However, new to the catalogue, thanks to a collaboration with Welsh Triathlon and broadcaster S4C, is the newly launched Welsh Triathlon Super Series.
Over the course of the summer, the Super Series will highlight the strength of triathlon talent in Wales as well as showcasing six of the nation’s well-loved events. Initially being broadcast in Welsh on S4C, an English version of the series will go on to be aired on Channel 4 in the autumn.
Following on from an initial broadcast on mainstream UK television station, Channel 4, all of Dream Team’s programmes can then be seen on Sky, British Eurosport, Premier Sports and Front Runner in the UK as well as numerous other channels internationally.
