17% revenue growth for Brooks Running in EMEA in H1 2019

With its stated focus on being the #1 choice for runners worldwide, Brooks Running has announced that in the first half of 2019 it achieved 17% revenue growth in the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region.

The close of Q2 2019 marked the fifth consecutive fiscal quarter of double digit revenue growth for Brooks in EMEA. According to Brooks, this signals ‘continued positive momentum for the performance running brand.’

While Brooks performed well in all EMEA markets in the first half of 2019, the UK and DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) led the way on revenue growth. Revenue grew in UK by 30% and in DACH by 15%.

Brooks experienced growth through all primary channels of distribution, including at specialty retail, at general sporting goods and online. Franchise run shoe styles powered Brooks’ growth, led by the Ghost and Adrenaline GTS which grew 38% and 30% respectively.

‘’We are very excited about our continued momentum in EMEA,” said Matt Dodge, Managing Director of Brooks Running EMEA. “The breadth and quality of our revenue growth in all of our key markets and channels – particularly at speciality retail where we continue to be highly focused – shows that our brand and products are resonating with runners.

“Our purpose is to inspire everyone to run their paths to a better self. We believe that running is a limitless source of positive energy, and we will continue to focus on creating the best running gear, tools and experiences that move runners along their path.”
