Last weekend, athletes from all around the globe converged in Mont-Tremblant, Québec, Canada. One of more than 40 events in the global IRONMAN Series, the Subaru IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant triathlon presented by Sportium led athletes on 3.8-km (2.4 mile) swim, 180-km (112 mile) bike, and 42.2-km (26.2 mile) run.
The course was highlighted by the setting of the Laurentian Mountains of Québec. The 2019 Subaru IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant triathlon presented by Sportium saw nearly 2,700 athletes representing 63 countries, regions, and territories start the race.

Athletes began their day with the 3.8-km swim in Lac Tremblant before taking on the two-loop, 180-km bike course run through Mont-Tremblant’s forests and low lying mountains. The two-loop, 42.2-km run course utilized the Le P’tit Train du Nord, a former railway bed turned into the longest linear park in Canada.
Reigning IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant champion Cody Beals of Canada took home top honours on the men’s side with a finish time of 07:58:34; while Australian Carrie Lester claimed first place in the women’s field with a time of 09:04:31.
