Alé kits out French team with new world champ Julian Alaphilippe

Apparel specialist Alé has congratulated the French national cycling team and Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck – Quick-Step team) for victory at the 2020 UCI World Championships on Sunday 27 September.

As an official jersey supplier to the French national team since 2014, Alé created a jersey with a unique design for the French team at this year’s UCI World Championships.

Alessia Piccolo, CEO of A.P.G. S.r.l, Alé’s parent company, said “September 27, 2020 was an unforgettable day. We are proud to have dressed the French cycling team. It is a great satisfaction to know that Julian Alaphilippe was wearing an Alé product while pedalling towards his greatest victory. I congratulate him, as well as the whole France team.”

The French team jersey is part of the Alé PR-S collection, developed in collaboration with a number of pro cycling teams. The apparel firm notes that particular attention has been paid to the jersey’s racing fit.

‘Alé has performed studies on the aggressive position adopted by cyclists during a race: the result is a garment that aims to improve speed without sacrificing comfort. A jersey that is almost a second skin: the cuts are reduced to a minimum and the flat seams envelop the body in an ergonomic and aerodynamic way.’

The Alé jersey for the French team is available as a replica version from the e-tailers and bike shops across Europe.
