XTERRA has announced an all-new 2020 season of XTERRA Adventures TV shows will debut on Outside TV Thursday, on July 2, at 21:00 EDT.
XTERRA notes that ‘The six-episode series will showcase incredible destinations, the determination and drive of the human spirit, and the unique stories of XTERRA with broadcast premieres on the first Thursday of every month from July through December.’
Produced by XTERRA in collaboration with Icarus Sports, the half-hour episodes will introduce a new theme in each show – with topics ranging from where XTERRA is today to where it all began, a historical introduction to the inaugural 1996 event.
“We’re really excited to showcase the inspiring journeys of our athletes, the sports’ best rivalries, our triumphs and most dramatic moments, and of course take a look at the majestic XTERRA destinations around the planet,” said XTERRA President, Janet Clark.
By leveraging a mixture of never-before-aired footage, archival content, and new athlete interviews, XTERRA Adventures looks into the culture that has shaped and permeated the worldwide endurance community over the past quarter-century.
“We are excited to be extending our partnership with XTERRA for another season,” said Rob Faris, SVP Programming & Production for Outside TV. “The storylines of the new episodes of XTERRA athlete’s struggles and perseverance are more relevant in today’s world than ever before.”
Viewers in the US can watch the show on Outside TV and Outside TV+, while international viewers can watch it on Outside TV’s YouTube Channel.
