Auro, the motivational audio fitness app, which provides workouts personalised for the user, has launched a new in-app running feature. This enables users to track their running pace, distance, speed and elevation as well as being able to see time splits.
Users are now also able to stream music from multiple services including Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify whilst training using Auro. There are an extensive number of Auro curated workout playlists on Spotify but users can also stream their own music if preferred.
Auro provides motivational audio workouts that are guided by expert trainers and tailored to an individual’s fitness goals and level. Within the app, there are hundreds of workouts that can be done at home, outdoors and at the gym.
Recommendations are provided for suitable classes based on the users own ability. With the new run feature, when an Auro trainer is asking a user to run at 80% effort, the user can track what pace this translates into for them specifically.
A maps feature also allows the viewing and saving of running routes for future reflection. This can be tracked to a compatible smartwatch or heart rate monitor to track heart rate, heart rate utilisation and calories to maximise impact and benefits from running.
