During a two-month lockdown – accessories and bike brand, 3T, worked from home, shipped from Denmark, raised money for a local hospital and produced valves for breathing equipment and face protection. Now the company is back to work, having reopened its offices in Italy.
To celebrate its re-opening and to ‘thank loyal customers for their support these past months’, 3T wanted to do something special. It is producing a limited edition ‘Exploro Arlecchino’ to celebrate its re-opening with a prize draw to win the custom designed bike.
For this unique edition, 3T notes that it is going all out. The bike features: Sram Force/Eagle AXS 12-speed electronic group, 3T DiscusPlus i28 LTD carbon wheels, the latest Aeroghiaia handlebar and the first Torno crank that comes out of its re-started factory. The bike’s total value is €8,500.
Italian bike shops are allowed to re-open again on May 18th. So, to reflect its support for stores, 3T is leaving registration for the bike prize draw open from now until May 18th. It will announce the winner the day after.
Bergamo is reportedly the place where Arlecchino (Harlequin) was born in medieval times. When entering Bergamo by car or bike, visitors can see his statue at the main roundabout.
Arlecchino wears a coloured costume with red, green, yellow, blue triangles, completed by a black mask. The colours of Arlecchino reflect all colours of this character.
