Last year, Conductor – the creative agency dedicated to cycling – invited nine leading designers & artists from around the world to create their own flag to mark the 2019 UCI Road World Championships.
The flags were exhibited in Harrogate, Yorkshire during the Championships and also at The Rouleur Classic cycling expo.
The HUP HUP HUP exhibition of the flags was created to raise funds for The Rayner Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping young British cyclists fulfil their dreams. To raise further funds for The Rayner Foundation, during a particularly challenging year, the flags have been made available via an online auction.
Each flag is a completely unique object with only one of each design in existence. The HUP HUP HUP organising team note that ‘the opportunity to celebrate the passion of cycling fans, raise money for a worthy cause and own a fantastic object designed by the likes of Sir Paul Smith, David Millar et al, is not to be missed.’
The auction runs from 10.00 GMT on Monday 28th September to 18:00 on Monday 12th October. The auction can be found online at airauctioneer.com/hup-hup-hup. Prints of the flags can also be purchased online.
