Davide Uccellari has signed an ambassador deal with Italian saddle specialist Repente. An Olympian who raced at London 2012 and Rio 2016, his main objectives now are the qualification for Tokyo 2021 Olympics alongside targeting 2021 World Cup triathlon races.
Uccellari has chosen to equip his Argon 18 bicycles with the Prime 2.0 and Magnet saddles produced by Repente. The company adds that these are ‘two saddles with different conceptual characteristics but with the same quality of materials and comfort.’
Prime is a versatile saddle used by many road riders as well as off-road bikers. Magnet is billed as ‘the featherweight of the aero position saddles’. The carbon offering weighs only 135g, with gripped surface inserts for maintaining the saddle position.
