Live televised sport has been shaken-up due to lockdown, although esports continue to be a growing phenomenon via the Zwift eRacing Championships and other events.
The team at Endurance Sports TV has been closely following the action and growth in spectators in this space. Aiming to tap into demand, it is offering up all live competitive cycling action to the homes of fans around the world for free – including the new Z Pro Tri Series, which kicks off this Wednesday.
Endurance Sports TV adds that coverage of Zwift racing will always be part of its free content offering, even after lockdown when viewers can access all of the races at no cost through the specialist channel.
Paul Shanley, co-founder of endurance sports TV said “There has been a real surge in interest in eRacing during the COVID pandemic – where events are being cancelled around the world, and competitive live racing is all but impossible with social distancing and travel restrictions in place.
“Yet the Zwift eRacing events are still running and growing in popularity – where the best in the world compete from the safety of their own homes.”
A release from Endurance Sports TV adds.. ‘With a greater focus on the eRacing series, the programmes being produced for TV are coming with growing live audiences, which have tripled since last year, with more picking up the action on catch-up.’

Endurance Sports TV is a TV channel dedicated to endurance sport. The channel is usually available on a subscription basis for £5.99 per month, however, is being opened up for free during lockdown, with no obligation to continue thereafter.
