Even with uncertain times unfolding in most regions of the world, event timing specialist MYLAPS notes that it ‘keeps on innovating’. The latest addition to the company’s ProChip product line has been launched: the ProChip Timer Go, a brand new ProChip without subscription and is for event timers only.
The yellow ProChip Timer Go is developed as an out-of-the-box transponder solution for timers. With this new ProChip, MYLAPS claims to improve the ease of use while ‘maintaining the high performance partners are used to.’
The ProChip Timer Go has the same performance as the existing ProChip (0.003 second claimed accuracy) but comes without a subscription and activation process.
“As the coronavirus spreads across the world, we understand that many of our partners are facing uncertain times,” said Camiel Slaats, CEO of MYLAPS. “In these times we are there to show our partnership.

The ProChip Timing System is billed as being ‘fast, reliable and easy to use’. The system can be used at a wide range of active sports events, including cycling, running, triathlon, skating, swimming, biathlon and more.
The new ProChip Timer Go is compatible with all ProChip transponders, ProChip decoders, Timing & Scoring and Orbits Cycling.
