Virtual cycling specialist ROUVY, in cooperation with GFNY Mexico, has released a GFNY Cozumel cycling course – taking in a simulation of the rolling hills of Cozumel in Mexico.
ROUVY CEO Petr Samek said, “It’s the pursuit of our vision that allows our users and athletes to visit all of the nicest and most popular cycling destinations around the world, including exotic locations such as San Miguel de Cozumel.”
With the release of GFNY Mexico-Cozumel, ROUVY adds that it is continuing to improve available virtual ride destinations for its subscribers. It has reportedly introduced over 7,000km of video footage to its virtual route catalogue.
GFNY Mexico-Cozumel will be an additional 78km loop that takes in the Cozumel island shoreline. The route will have full features of the real gran fondo event and includes signage, barriers, and even sponsors vehicles at select points along the way.
Paradise Sports Management has been organizing GFNY Mexico cycling races for over seven years and has organized ten races to date. Shaun Gad and Miguel Gonzalez are the owners and co-founders of the company which started in 2014 with its first GFNY race in Cozumel, Mexico.
