Designed with performance and protection in mind, Oakley is launching the Oakley Clear Collection that includes sport performance and lifestyle frames with clear and photochromic lenses.
The new collection features:
- High Definition Optics: eliminates distortion to give clearer, sharper, and more accurate vision
- Plutonite Lens: A proprietary Oakley lens material designed to provide UV blocking and impact protection
Oakley adds that the UV blocking ‘blocks 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC up to 400nm’. The impact protection from Oakley’s lens material and frame geometry combinations are designed and tested to provide protection against high velocity impacts. Select products are tested to also provide protection against high mass impacts.
Select products also have an anti-fog coating applied to the back surface of the lens to help prevent fogging while in use.
The collection includes high-wrap frames with an extended field of view, providing ‘increased peripheral vision, coverage, and protection’.
Radar EV Path
With an RRP of £191, Oakley’s original Radar eyewear incorporates the taller lens of Radar EV and its extended range of view in the upper peripheral region.
