Super League Triathlon (SLT) and BOA Nutrition have signed a ‘multi-year partnership’ that designates BOA as the Official Nutraceutical Partner of SLT’s Championship Series.
BOA’s tie-up with Super League will begin with the 2021 Championship Series, which features four back-to-back races throughout September – with events in London, Munich, Jersey and Malibu.
Super League adds that the series… ‘will crown the fastest triathletes in the world – with short, sharp and action packed events in a made for broadcast package that will thrill fans around the world.’
BOA’s latest partnership with Super League follows on from a sponsorship deal with national governing body USA Triathlon. The nutrition specialist recently launched its first product, Endure, which is designed to help athletes delay the onset of fatigue by replacing lost sodium, a critical nutrient in hydration.
In conjunction with an athlete’s hydration strategy, or fluid of choice, an athlete can use BOA’s patent-pending aerosol blast to deliver a concentrated amount of sodium. The company refers to this as “competition level sodium.”
BOA adds that determining the best combination of nutrients and hydration is an individualized process for each athlete, and can prove challenging for endurance athletes competing in three sports over an extended duration of time.
