British Triathlon and global sports apparel brand Descente have been in partnership since 2017, and a new agreement will now see them work together until the end of 2024.
Descente has been the Official Performance and Sports Apparel partner for the past four years and has provided the Great Britain elite triathlon and paratriathlon and age group teams with technical sports clothing including racing tri suits, training wear and travel wear.
Based in Japan, Descente has a long history of working in winter sports and began developing triathlon apparel in 2013. The company also signed a four-year apparel deal with USA Triathlon in late 2019.
Descente has been a key partner for the British Triathlon Mixed Team relay and has supported the team for the past four years – in a period that has seen the team win five world medals.

We have enjoyed great success together over the past few years including seeing athletes on top of podiums, winning gold in the mixed team relay on home soil in 2019 and growing our brand in new markets.

World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds bronze medallist Sophie Coldwell added “It’s great that Descente have chosen to continue to support British Triathlon. They have provided world class apparel for the national team which looks good and performs well. I look forward to seeing the relationship continue to grow over the next three years.”
