Pro triathletes Jan Frodeno and Lionel Sanders are aiming to make history at the Zwift-sponsored Tri Battle Royale. On Sunday, July 18, the two triathletes are going head-to-head on a fast, flat course for a full distance race in Allgäu, Germany.
Ahead of the real-world race, Zwifters will be able to join the athletes for their final workouts on Friday July 16th. Then, on Monday, July 19th, there will be a recovery ride held on Zwift with the athletes to take stock of the big day.

‘Want to see how fast the best in the world really go? Hop onto Zwift during the race and see how long you can keep up with Jan and Lionel’s avatars. The avatars will be putting out the same power while cycling and be covering ground at the same speed as the athletes during the run leg transmitted live from the course in Allgäu, Germany.
‘Follow both Jan and Lionel on Zwift Companion to be able to easily find them on the Start screen to ride or run with them on Sunday.’
