The SLT Arena Games powered by Zwift in Rotterdam this past weekend served up a frenetic, innovative and entertaining elite triathlon race series.
The Zwemcentrum in Rotterdam, Netherlands, was the return host of this melding of virtual and real-world racing. Building on the Arena Games debut in 2020, and the recent event in London, the event in the Netherlands provided the backdrop for two hours of elite tri racing. Britain’s Sophie Coldwell and Belgium’s Marten Van Riel were the overall winners.
In separate news, Super League Triathlon confirmed that its ‘big destinations announcement’ will be made shortly. The event organising team has flagged that it will be ‘announcing something big on May 5th’.
Super League Triathlon (SLT) pitches pro triathletes against each other in fast and furious race formats in destinations across the globe.
The SLT Championship Series takes place from August-November with many of the best triathletes on the planet doing battle over varying race formats which are ‘redefining the sport for a modern audience.’
