British wheel brand Parcours has announced that it is supporting international professional triathlete Kyle Smith this year, including his upcoming appearance in Samorin, Slovakia, at the inaugural Collins Cup.
Earlier this month, Team International Captains, Lisa Bentley and Simon Whitfield, selected Ellie Salthouse, Sarah Crowley, Jackson Laundry and Kyle Smith to join Team Internationals.
Canadian Jackson Laundry and Kyle Smith from New Zealand join four other ranked athletes in the Team Internationals roster: Lionel Sanders, Braden Currie, Samuel Appleton And Max Neumann.
The Collins Cup is the PTO’s inaugural flagship event taking place on August 28th in Šamorín, Slovakia. The new race format is modelled after the Ryder Cup, and will see teams of International, European and USA athletes pitted against one another.
In his first season of long-distance racing, Kyle Smith also has his focus on the upcoming IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in St George, Utah, and the rescheduled IRONMAN World Championship race in February in Kona, Hawaii.
Throughout his training and racing, Kyle will be supported by a wide range of Parcours wheelsets… ‘to ensure that he has the best options for every course profile to enable him to race as efficiently as possible.’
