MAAP has unveiled its new season line-up of Pro Jerseys, made with 100% Bluesign approved materials including high performance recycled polyester yarns, designed to stand up to repeated use.
According to the Australian cycling apparel company… ‘Sustainability is deeply rooted at the core of everything MAAP does, with a brand value to always leave a better planet than the one we inherit.’
Bluesign is a system that aims to provide a more sustainable environment. It traces each textile’s path along the manufacturing process, helping brands to make improvements at every stage from factory floor to finished product.
Featuring bright colours and bold graphics, teamed with complementary fabric combinations the MAAP Pro Air, Pro Hex and Pro Jerseys all feature the brand’s pro fit and styling, and are highly wicking, lightweight, breathable and feature SPF50+ sun protection.
“Our goal is to exclusively utilise yarns from Bluesign certified corporations in our range and these jerseys are no exception,” said Darren Tabone, VP of Product at MAAP.
“Additionally, with our latest collection, 85% of the materials have come from recycled sources. Alongside high performance, and design, we’re focused on reducing our environmental impact.”
The updated range includes: the Allied Pro Air Jersey, Emblem Pro Hex Jersey and Vapor Pro Jersey for men and the Emblem Pro Hex Jersey, Flow Pro Jersey and Flow Team Base Layer for women.
