SCOTT Sports is supporting Team DSM’s men, women and development program racing in 2021 and beyond. The company adds that it is ‘very optimistic that Team DSM’s young and ambitious roster will deliver fast, exciting, and successful racing from the start on our bikes and prove the superiority of our products.’
SCOTT’s engineering team is working closely with Team DSM’s engineering and biomechanical experts to integrate their input and feedback into the development of the next generation of SCOTT road bikes.
In pursuit of Grand Tours, classics and sprint success, the team riders can choose between the ultralight SCOTT Addict RC or the aerodynamic SCOTT Foil. For time trials, Team DSM will ride SCOTT’s Plasma. All bikes come equipped with Syncros components.
‘All three bikes feature a unique team-specific paint job. The blue glitter flakes at the front of the frame sparkle in the sun and gradually fade into a mix of raw carbon and black base colour. All decals are reflective to ensure better visibility and more security for the riders on their training rides. The result is a very classy-looking race bike with limited usage of paint.’
Team DSM riders can choose between the SCOTT Centric PLUS or the SCOTT Cadence PLUS helmet for road races and have the SCOTT Split helmet for time trials.
