The relationship between Selle Italia and Alpecin-Fenix pro rider Mathieu Van der Poel has been strengthened through a partnership that was unveiled on the eve of the Tour of Flanders.
The Italian company has launched an exclusive saddle designed together with the Dutch champion – the Flite Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow ‘MVDP edition’.

The relationship between the Italian company and Mathieu Van der Poel began five years ago. Building on this, the development of a Mathieu Van der Poel branded version of the Flite Boost saddle sees the new offering feature a dedicated logo and graphics.

Selle Italia adds that the MVDP edition of the Flite Boost features:
- A design resulting from a direct alliance between Mathieu and the company’s style centre
- A collector’s model developed in white, just like the Flite Boost Mathieu normally uses when racing
- A square logo and the lettering MVDP – the champion’s trademark – applied to the saddle and created ad hoc for the athlete
- Special packaging, displaying Mathieu Van der Poel’s cycling history and successes
