German bike brand STORCK is the latest to deploy Classified Powershift technology – featuring a gear hub in the rear wheel that replaces the front derailleur.
Belgium firm Classified notes that the new hub-based shifting tech allows ‘gear shifting under full load within split seconds.’
With already more than 200 dealers in Europe and the USA, Classified adds that its dealer network is growing fast. The number of partnerships with bicycle brands is also growing. STORCK is the eighth OEM firm to partner with Classified.
The new partnership between STORCK and Classified sees the new STORCK GRIX.2 high-end gravel bike equipped with Classified carbon wheels with Powershift technology. The GRIX.2 is the first bike resulting from the new partnership between STORCK and Classified.
The Classified Powershift is integrated into the rear hub and replaces the function of the front derailleur. Classified adds that its system… ‘enables instant gear changes – equivalent to the front chainring – at full power within 150 milliseconds with uncompromising gear ratio and gear jump.’

“Additionally, by using hub gears and eliminating the front derailleur in combination with our new integrated frameset, we reduce wind resistance to keep you riding fast even when graveling.”
Classified’s products are designed and produced in Belgium. Its carbon wheelsets are specially made to match with the Powershift hub.

The Classified Powershift system is combined on the GRIX.2 with the gravel-specific SRAM Force XPLR and has an RRP of €6.399.
