Team GB gold medallists at Super League Triathlon London

Team GB’s gold medal winning athletes will race in the UK for the first time since Tokyo at Super League Triathlon London on Sunday, September 5th.

Alex Yee and Georgia Taylor-Brown both produced strong performances to pick up individual silver medals before Great Britain stormed to gold in the Mixed Relay event, with the duo helped to glory by Jonathan Brownlee and Jessica Learmonth.

All four stars are on the roster for this September’s Super League Triathlon Championship Series, which kicks-off with at West India Quay in London.

Spectators can attend the event for free and cheer on not only the golden quartet also but British Olympic bronze medallist from Rio Vicky Holland, as well as… ‘the very best of the triathlon world in the most fast, frenetic and exciting race series around.’

The pro event starts at 11.30 BST. Super League Triathlon’s 2021 Championship Series race calendar is:

  • September 5: London, UK
  • September 12: Munich, Germany
  • September 18: Jersey, Channel Islands
  • September 25: Malibu, USA

There will be 20 female and 20 male athletes competing at each event on a single day of racing over Super League’s short, sharp race formats. As well as the athletes contracted across the series, the start list for each event will include a small allocation of wildcard slots to be filled nearer the time.

‘Each Super League event is raced on a stadium-like course that means spectators can get an up close and personal view of the athletes multiple times. The game changing race formats mean there is constant action and excitement.’
