Speedo has launched its new range of Biofuse 2.0 goggles, featuring its Biofuse technology.
According to the company… ‘Providing the unrivalled flexible comfort Biofuse is known for, Biofuse 2.0 is an evolution to its predecessor, bringing clearer vision and a more comfortable fit, to give you a more intuitive swimming experience.
‘The sleek, flexible design of the frame on the Biofuse 2.0 stretches and adapts more intricately to the nose and face contours for a super snug fit, while super soft comfortable seals offer the same best-selling fit that moulds to fit your eye contours.
‘The strong internal frame is wrapped in a soft gel-like skin, and combined with new concave channels around the nosebridge, maintain exceptional stability on your face throughout your swim.’
Biofuse 2.0 goggles also feature a new Speedo patent-pending push button to help with fast and effective fitting, and an ergonomic split strap complete with traction gears for a secure fit.
A re-designed wide-view lens shape enhances peripheral vision underwater. The new anti-fog coating conforms to the new ISO standards. Biofuse 2.0 also offers swimmers UV protection – the polycarbonate lenses protect eyes from both UVA & UVB radiation, with a UV400 rating.
Speedo adds that the new goggles have been constructed from materials that use less fossil-based carbons vs traditional plastics…
‘From the lenses, side clip cover and strap holder which are made in part using bio-circular materials; to the gasket and frame that are produced using bio-based materials, these developments support our aim of reducing the environmental impact of our Biofuse 2.0 goggles.’

The new goggles are unisex and available in four core and one seasonal tint colourways and two mirror options for reduced brightness and glare. The new goggles’ packaging has been constructed from 100% recycled PET which is widely recyclable, depending on local facilities.
