ADICTA LAB, part of the BMC Group, has launched its first collection for men and women.
The premium Swiss cycling apparel company aims to create its technical products sustainably. Equinox +, the company’s spring and summer collection, features jerseys and bib shorts for riders… ‘with an aggressive riding style, as well as for those preferring long hours on the saddle.’
The Alate jersey is lightweight and made from recycled PET plastic bottles. The premium Italian fabric used provides high breathability and a ‘sleek second-skin sensation’. Superlight mesh side panels provide improved ventilation in the areas that require it most. As a result, dampness from perspiration is kept to a minimum, especially during aggressive cycling sessions.
The Valent jersey is lightweight and breathable with built-in thermoregulation tech, for sustained performance. It is constructed from strategically placed super lightweight mesh and highly breathable fabric embedded with 37.5 technology. Here, the premium Italian fabrics have been chosen specifically for their ventilation and thermoregulation qualities to allow maximal comfort for day-long rides.
The jerseys display minimalistic designs – Terra and Aqua – that are inspired by nature.
The Joule and Liana bib shorts are made with lightweight recycled fabric. The company adds that this is sourced not only because it is environmentally responsible but also because of its technical benefits and comfort. The premium Italian fabric offers a luxurious feel, high breathability and muscle compression to aid performance. It is accompanied by a gender specific 4D Performance Pad for long lasting comfort and protection.
A handful of accessories – caps, socks, and warmers – are available to complete the look.
To go further and aim to make an impact beyond the use of recycled materials for its products, ADICTA LAB has created the Terra Foundation, billed as ‘a proactive initiative to protect our planet’.
Represented by the dismantled ADICTA LAB logo that forms a landscape, the Terra Foundation will support a new environmental cause each year. In 2022, it will plant a tree for every purchase made.
ADICTA LAB products are now available online in Switzerland, Germany and France. Products will be available online in the USA as of May, as well as at selected BMC retail shops internationally.
