Garmin has confirmed its continued support of the Garmin New Forest Marathon, set to take place on Sunday September 11th in southern England. Returning to its pre-Covid location at New Park Showground, the event expects to see over 2,000 runners of all abilities taking part.
Garmin’s European headquarters are situated on the edge of the New Forest National Park and the brand has supported the event for a number of years.
To celebrate the event, Garmin is providing a 25% discount code off selected products to those who have registered for the race. This includes products from Garmin’s Forerunner range, which caters for runners from complete beginners to elite level.
Attendees can expect a race village with food and drink, live music and camping. A ‘Garmin chill out zone’ will allow participants to unwind pre- and post-race, and the Garmin stand will feature the brand’s latest running products.
A release from Garmin added that… ‘The protection of the New Forest is important to Garmin and the New Forests Marathon team, who together work incredibly hard to ensure the event has zero impact on the New Forest habitat.’
