‘Built at the intersection of road and trail’… the new Challenger 7 run shoe from HOKA has been revamped. Combining a simplified mesh upper with a soft new foam, HOKA has increased the stack height for a plusher feel.
There is added proprietary rubber in the shoe’s bottom unit, along with a reworked outsole design for all-terrain running. Inspired by gravel tyres, there are tightly spaced lugs in the centre of the shoe tread, and larger, more aggressive lugs at the perimeter designed for improved traction on uneven terrain.
Lighter than its last all-terrain shoe iteration, the Challenger 7 from HOKA has an RRP £130 in the UK.
