On Sunday, June 12, over 2,000 triathletes from several dozen countries took on the Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw.
The event started with a swim in Warsaw’s Lake Zegrzyński, with the bike leg taking in the surrounding countryside, and the finishing run concluding in the heart of the Polish capital.
Robert Wilkowiecki took the win at this year’s IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw. For the Polish triathlete, it was the first victory in his IRONMAN racing career. Paulina Kotfica, also from Poland, won the women’s race in Warsaw.
The race weekend also saw the Citi Handlowy-sponsored 5150 Warsaw event get under way. In 2022, six races under the IRONMAN brand will take place in Poland:

- Citi Handlowy 5150 Warsaw – June 12, 2022;
- Enea IRONMAN Gdynia – August 7, 2022;
