Runners and walkers alike took to the streets and the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk at the weekend for the inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Atlantic City.
With music and community support throughout the event, participants took on 5K and half marathon distances that ran along the coast of Atlantic City and down America’s original boardwalk.
During the fourth Rock ‘n’ Roll Elite Half Marathon Series event, it was Dennis Kipkosgei a native of Kenya currently living in the United States and Hirut Guangul of New York that claimed victories.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Elite half marathon series offered a shared US$10,000 elite prize purse and Elite Beat Rankings (EBR) points to the top three male and female finishers.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series is next scheduled to continue in the United States with the Heineken 0.0 Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series San Diego on June 4-5, 2022.
