Le Col has launched a 10 year anniversary collection celebrating Le Col ambassador Sir Bradley Wiggins and his achievements.
According to the cycling apparel firm… ‘The collection, honouring the cycling legend, lives up to Wiggins’ unparalleled palmares as an Olympic athlete and Tour de France winning rider. The two iconic designs each represent elements of Wiggins’ ‘Golden Summer’ of 2012.’
The range saw Bradley Wiggins and the Le Col team collaborate on the designs and messaging behind the collection. This implements design features from Wiggins’ Tour de France victory in Paris as well as his gold medal success at the 2012 Olympics, both of which he won within 10 days.
The Le Col by Wiggins Legend Jersey celebrates Wiggins’ win at the London 2012 Olympic Time Trial, where he stormed to victory with a winning time of 50:39. The result is subtly included across the rear pocket.

The Champion of 2012 Jersey memorialises an epic year for Wiggins. Including his impressive performance in the Tour de France, this was the year he became the first rider to ever win Paris-Nice, Tour de Romandie and the Criterium du Dauphine all in the same season. The jersey includes subtle details such as Wiggins’ Tour number 101 on the rear pockets.
Both jerseys are available in the Hors Categorie lines, woven with lightweight, soft-to-touch four way stretch fabrics, supporting breathability and freedom of movement on long-distance rides. They are also available in the Sport spec, which features a slightly more relaxed fit, ideal for different riding styles. Each jersey is available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
The collection also includes a cycling cap available in white and navy, both matching their corresponding jersey. Cycling socks also feature, again in the white and navy options matching the jersey. The socks use a technical honeycomb structure to increase breathability, compression, and comfort. High-wicking and durable polyamide yarn ensures durability.
