Limited extra capacity for IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events in Europe

The IRONMAN Group has announced a limited release of additional race entries for… ‘11 of the public’s favourite European races.’

Declan Byrne, Vice President of Operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa for The IRONMAN Group said “Due to the huge interest we received for these races originally, and taking into account a disappointing couple of years of race cancellations, we really wanted to find a way of giving athletes the race and experience they were dreaming of this year.

“So, we have been working closely with the operations teams in each event country to make this happen while continuing to ensure a smooth and safe event experience.”

He continued, “We are excited to be re-opening these races to the public and look forward to welcoming athletes from all over the world to some of our most sought-after European races.”

Athletes who would like to add an additional range of services to their event entry can also choose a range of new custom experience options over and above general entries. These include services such as VIP parking, VIP athlete concierge support, hospitality for athletes and supporters, personalized medal engraving and more.

Additional race entries include the likes of Mainova IRONMAN European Championship Frankfurt, as well as the popular IRONMAN Kalmar which has previously been voted the most recommended race globally by triathletes.

Athletes from the UK and Ireland who prefer to race close to home but weren’t quick enough to secure a spot in the big three races at the outset can now sign up to IRONMAN UK, the festival weekend of IRONMAN Ireland, Cork and the popular IRONMAN Wales.

Athletes can also set their sights on IRONMAN 70.3 Kraichgau powered by KraichgauEnergie or join the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea which initially sold out in record time.
