The National Running Show Birmingham, in partnership with Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, is getting set to welcome over 20,000 runners to the NEC, Birmingham, UK. Spanning the weekend of 22-23 January and running from 09:00-17:00, it will showcase some of the latest kit, alongside events and UK running stars.
Some of the world’s top runners will be speaking at the show, including: Lord Seb Coe, Jonnie Peacock MBE, Kadeena Cox, Scott Jurek, Carla Molinaro and Derek Redmond.
‘With over 250 brands including Decathlon, Salomon, Hoka, On Running, Peloton and Runderwear on site, visitors will be able to discuss, try and buy all the latest gear from the latest running shoes to hydration vests, running apparel to nutrition and hydration support.’
The official retail partner for the show is Up & Running, which will play host to high-profile running brands including Saucony, New Balance, Ronhill, Camelbak, Oofos, adidas and Craft Sportswear.
The line-up of show features includes: the Travel Centre by Sports Tours International, Steve Cram’s Training Camp, Gait Analysis from Chiltern Physiotherapy, the Run Clinic from The Movement and Running School, the Saucony Running Track, the Nutrition Zone from INDE-Fit, the Strength Zone from Chiltern Physiotherapy, and the Recovery Zone from Pulseroll.
The Events Village is powered by RaceNation. At The Bra Bar from Runderwear runners can get fitted for and try the right bra for their needs, and check out NoblePro in the Treadmill Training area.
Visitors can take a load off their feet in The Chillout Zone from Crystal Ski Holidays and have a break in The Run Café sponsored by Runderwear.
The 2022 event is the fourth edition of the National Running Show Birmingham, in partnership with Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity. It will boast a 30% larger floor space and a broader range of brands in attendance.
With three theatres including the Inspiration Stage, Running Skills Theatre and Ultra Zone, visitors will hear from runners and industry leading professionals.
Derek Redmond, who will be speaking at the show on Saturday 22 January, said “I am really looking forward to attending The National Running Show Birmingham and for the opportunity to share my running story and hopefully inspire visitors to dream big.
