The Rapha Performance Trailwear expansion into off-road riding apparel is continuing to evolve with the apparel brand’s autumn/winter 2022 collection featuring four merino wool tops for trail riding.
Designed to move with the rider, the merino collection aims to optimise airflow and allow for a range of motion.
Rapha notes that merino wool has been an integral ingredient for its cycling apparel. The renewable fibre, spun from the wool of merino sheep, is renowned for its sweat wicking, odour resistance, and thermoregulation.
Given that trail riders need durable gear that may take a beating, Rapha developed and fabricated Performance Merino Off Road Wool, which is a proprietary blend of natural and synthetic fibres developed for toughness and comfort.
Rapha adds that… ‘The new merino capsule has been tested to the limits to keep you cool, sweat-free, stink-free, and comfortable during your hardest efforts. To extend the life of these hard-wearing tops, each garment comes with a set of colour-matched iron-on patches for easy home repair.’
