Italian saddle specialist Repente has outlined its commitment to professional cycling in 2022 with the Belgian team Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB added to its sponsor roster. The team structure is comprised of a UCI Pro Team, with 20 riders, and a Continental team that includes 16 young athletes.
In 2021 the Pro Team achieved five victories with Timothy Dupont (Etoile de Bessèges stage), Ludovic Robeet (Nokere Koerse), Milan Menten (CRO Race stage) and Louis Blouwe (GP Rik Van Looy and GP Stad Sint-Niklaas). This is alongside eight second and 14 third places, with team riders featuring 66 times in the top 5, and 143 times in the top 10.
In 2022 Team Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB will be at the start of many of this year’s cycling classics, such as Paris-Roubaix, Vallone Arrow and the Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Also on the agenda is Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne among others.
To equip the Belgian team, Repente has made its Quasar CR, Quasar, Prime, Spyd, Artax and Latus, models available. Each saddle has different characteristics for different types of riding. Time trial bikes are equipped with the ultralight full carbon Magnet.
In 2022 Repente is a partner of five UCI Continental teams. Among these, is the Polish team HRE Mazowsze Heart of Poland. In Italy the collaboration is with Team Beltrami Tsa – Tre Colli, and in Portugal Repente debuts with Team Efapel by Josè Azevedo.
