The Windsor Trail Run is set to return to Berkshire, South East England, with two events on May 21st and November 19th, 2023.
Runners will be able to choose from three event distances – 10km, half marathon and marathon – with each run course weaving along some of the UK’s most historic trails.
Described by organisers as ‘fun flat and fast’, the scenic course passes through a host of picturesque locations; including Bray, home to chef Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck restaurant, as well as Eton – where many of Great Britain’s Prime Ministers have been schooled – and one of the river’s busiest and most photographed locks, Boveney Lock.
To celebrate the return of the event, the organising team are offering an exclusive, limited time launch offer, in which runners can enjoy £10 off current early bird pricing using discount code ‘WTR10’. This offer runs until midnight on December 31st, 2022, and can be redeemed against all event distances:
- 10km Trail Run – £25 | Early Bird £22.50 | Launch Price £12.50 (with code)
- Half Marathon Trail Run – £35 | Early Bird £31.50 | Launch Price £21.50 (with code)
- Marathon Trail Run – £45 | Early Bird £40.50 | Launch Price £30.50 (with code)
Buddy Bradbury, Event Director of the Windsor Trail Run, said “we’re absolutely delighted to return to Windsor to host this iconic event.
“The course is so incredibly special, and celebrates the very best in British heritage and history, offering a truly unique experience for runners. The three event distances mean that there is something for runners of all levels, and we expect to welcome beginners, through to competitive club runners looking to better their PBs. We look forward to welcoming everyone along to the first instalment of the event in May.”
