ROUVY syncs with Garmin Connect

Indoor cycling platform ROUVY has confirmed full support of the API integration for ROUVY activities with Garmin Connect. The integration enables Garmin device owners to sync their activities created in the ROUVY app directly into their Garmin Connect account.

Petr Samek, CEO of ROUVY, said “For ROUVY, it is the end of the wait of our global community requesting this integration. We are honoured and proud of the opportunity to join the exclusive club of Garmin’s data partners.

“Until now, our athletes have been exporting and importing their activities manually. Now, things have become easier and faster, allowing them to focus on training results, and not on managing data.”

When logged into their ROUVY accounts, users can now opt to link their Garmin Connect account to automatically import workout activities from ROUVY where they will be viewable in the categories of ‘virtual cycling’ and/or ‘virtual running’.

The final integration of all imported (.fit) metrics from ROUVY to advanced performance analytics features in Garmin Connect (such as ‘recovery time’ or ‘intensity minutes’) is to be completed by Garmin later in February.

Garmin Connect is a free online fitness platform and community that allows users to analyze training progress, set and track goals, and share activities with other Garmin Connect users or on social media sites. Additionally, users can plan their workouts, or use a training plan to send directly to their compatible Garmin device.
