Royal Parks Half selects njuko as official registration partner

Endurance sports event registration firm njuko and the Royal Parks Half Marathon, presented by Royal Bank of Canada are embarking on a registration partnership for 2022 and beyond.

This Royal Parks Half is a central London race with its 13.1 mile route taking in the capital’s landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

“We are pleased to launch the 2022 race with the support of njuko II,” said Alun Mainwaring, Head of Events at The Royal Parks. “As the longest standing half marathon in central London, we are committed to innovating year on year, ensuring we continue to offer an exceptional event to all of our participants.

“njuko supports this ambition, allowing us to offer a streamlined registration experience and deeper integrations across the event.”

Event clients of njuko include: the city marathons of London, Muscat, Milan, Salzburg, Vienna, Frankfurt, Luxembourg and ‘1000s of other events of all sizes’.

Prominently across Continental Europe, Asia and now more so in the UK, njuko has introduced what is billed as… ‘the industry’s first API centric modular registration engine in ‘njuko II’ and The Royal Parks is one of the first to use this new technology.’

Upon the opening of the event ballot in January, which saw tens of thousands apply for a ballot place, the njuko platform facilitatesd the purchase of race places on behalf of charities and corporations using the new pre-paid places module on njuko II.

Matt Trevett, UK Business Manager at njuko said “We are so thankful to the Royal Parks Half team for putting their faith in our revolutionary new platform – njuko II.

“As well as this, working with such a prestigious event that supports so many fantastic charities across the UK is truly an honour. So far having launched the ballot and charity and corporate places we have seen a positive start to 2022 and a real desire from runners to secure a place in the event.

“We look forward to this ongoing partnership and supporting the great work of The Royal Parks charity.”

Charities can also benefit from a new JustGiving connection that automatically syncs a runner with their chosen charity on JustGiving, allowing participants to create fundraising pages, track their fundraising goals and enlist the support of family and friends.
