To celebrate the opening of entries for the L’Étape du Tour de France 2023, Santini has presented its men’s and women’s collections for the event.
L’Étape du Tour de France attracts over 16,000 enthusiastic amateur riders each year to the same roads as the Le Tour. The event’s 2023 edition is scheduled for Sunday, July 9th.
The amateur race will take cyclists through the Department of Haute Savoie where they will race from Annemasse and Morzine, tackling the Col de Saxel, Col de Cou, the Col de Feu, the Col de la Ramaz and the Col de Joux Plane climbs, in the course of a 152km route with a 4,100m elevation gain.
Santini has created men’s and women’s collections for the L’Étape du Tour de France. The dark and light blue-centred men’s line will centre comprise a jersey, bibshorts, base layer and technical t-shirt, while the purple and lilac women’s collection offers a cycling kit and base layers. Coordinating vests, gloves, cap and socks will also be available.
The graphic design for the collections, developed by Santini’s Irish Creative Director, Fergus Niland, takes its inspiration from the outlines of the climbs the riders will tackle along the route and also pays homage to Haute Savoie itself with a white cross on a red background. A pattern of crossed lines represents the outlines of the climbs intersecting on a coloured background.
