The 2022 full-distance IRONMAN triathlon broadcast schedule kicks off with the ISUZU IRONMAN African Championship in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa. Coverage will begin at 12am ET on Sunday, April 3 through the IRONMAN Now Channel.
Combined with coverage on Outside Watch of the 2022 Athletic Brewing IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside triathlon, which will begin at 09:00 ET, on Saturday, April 2, viewers from around the world can take in over 15 hours of live race programming.
The 2022 full-distance IRONMAN triathlon broadcast schedule will feature 14 stops across the globe including destinations in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, South Africa, and the United States.
In addition, viewers will be able to watch IRONMAN World Championship racing live from St George, Utah on May 7, and Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i on October 6 and 8.
New this season, viewers will be able to access the IRONMAN Now Channel on YouTube and Twitch in addition to Facebook Watch.

Race coverage will immerse viewers in the race action and local scenery while following the professional competition. Coverage will begin with a pre-race show that previews the pro field and course while also including exclusive interviews with triathlon personalities and other special guests.
The live broadcasts will be hosted by a team including IRONMAN World Champions and Hall of Famers Greg Welch and Michellie Jones, as well as IRONMAN champions Dede Griesbauer and Michael Lovato.
Matt Lieto will also be providing analysis from both on the course and in the studio throughout the 2022 season.
The 2022 Athletic Brewing IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside triathlon broadcast will be hosted by Lieto and Griesbauer. Lieto will then also call the 2022 Isuzu IRONMAN African Championship and will be joined by professional triathletes, Laura Siddall and Emma Pallant-Browne, who will join the broadcast team and provide special on-site commentating.
