The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has signed Asian beverage brand POKKA as the Official Drinks Partner of the PTO Asian Open.
The one-year partnership will start at this month’s inaugural PTO Asian Open in Singapore, to be held on August 19-20. Activity will be focused around on-course product at aid stations across the 100km triathlon for professionals and amateur athletes as well as two duathlons and a 5km music run.
These will be supported through POKKA’s Water4U and Plenish isotonic drinks as well as Sapporo Beer and Sparkling Flavoured Water for post-race drinks and hospitality. There will also be competitions for age groupers and activations in the event expo.
Kian Ann, GM of Marketing at POKKA, said “With POKKA’s vision being ‘Genuine Vitality For Life’, we believe in the importance of creating healthy and active experiences, which is why we jumped at the chance to join forces with the PTO Tour’s first event in Asia.

Our male and female professionals going head-to-head on a global broadcast feed will be shown in more than 195 territories around the world, through to amateurs taking part in our range of different multisport events.”
