The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and ROUVY have opened up the first virtual PTO Open enabling leading professionals and amateur triathletes to preview the new pro bike course for the inaugural PTO Asian Open, which takes place in Singapore on August 19-20, 2023.
With less than a month to go until the race in Singapore’s Marina Bay Financial District, the initiative allows all those who’ve signed up for the 100km triathlon to ride alongside pros and get to grips with the bike course the professionals will face.
The Virtual PTO Asian Open starts and finishes at the Bayfront Event Space and takes athletes up the Sheares Bridge to give virtaul views of the city.
“Nothing beats getting to grips with a new course, so to be able to give all those signed up for the inaugural PTO Asian Open 100km triathlon the chance to try it out virtually as part of their training countdown is a unique experience,” said ROUVY’s CEO, Petr Samek.
ROUVY is the new Official Virtual Ride Partner of the 2023 PTO Tour and by offering more than 15,000 augmented routes, filmed on video around the world, riders can explore the world or train on routes for upcoming events from the comfort of their home.
