Cycling apparel firm Attaquer has released its new new Terra collection. This is positioned as a range of utility garments destined for use beyond the bike, as well as cycling-specific apparel.
Terra combines technical and traditional pieces that are made to be worn during outdoor activity, such as the weekday commute, a weekend adventure or day to day use. The apparel designs feature a mix of earthy tones, juxtaposing fluoro details.
Attaquer notes that sustainability is at the heart of the new collection. Deliberate design decisions were based around the use of recycled fabrics and minimising material inputs.
Attaquer added.. ‘The goal for Terra was to create a collection durable enough to withstand use in the environment, without harming it in the process, without compromising on style or performance.’
Innovative features, such as hidden glasses cleaners, premium trims using YKK zippers and high performance materials like graphene fabrics sit alongside cotton and fleece to round out apparel that’s built to last.
The collection comprises a suite of technical tees and matching cargo bottoms, both long and short. The technical tees, which feature lightweight, graphene infused fabrics with fused hems and active seam construction, are available with short sleeves in three colourways, as a hooded, long-sleeve version as well as a women’s specific cropped waist version.
New Terra cargo shorts or pants offer generous carrying capacity thanks to several large pockets as well as the adaptability and durability required for activities in a range of testing environments. Attaquer has also developed a unique summer-weight cargo base layer, which provides four pockets for ample carrying capacity when riding jerseyless.
Recycled and OEKO-TEX certified materials have been employed across the range.
In addition to the more technically oriented pieces, the Terra collection offers heavyweight cotton t-shirts, two short sleeved and one long sleeved, as well as heavyweight sweater. This causal component features Attaquer’s new oversized fit with tall collars, dropped shoulders and inverted seam detailing.
The collection is rounded out by a heavyweight fleece jacket in the same oversized fit, finished with premium YKK two-way zippers and multiple cargo pockets.
