Italian cycling apparel firm Santini directly distributes its products via subsidiaries in the USA and three European countries: Spain, the UK and France. In this latter market, Charles-Evan Hary has now assumed the role of Country Manager.
From the beginning of September, in addition to managing Santini’s sponsorship rights, Charles-Evan Hary will also lead the brand’s distribution and strategy activities in France, supported by four agents who are already operating in the country.
Santini CEO, Monica Santini, said “We had an opportunity to get to know Charles-Evan and were impressed by his commitment and attention to detail. He was therefore the ideal choice to assume responsibility for the French market, which is a particularly important location for our company due to the many French events we sponsor.”
After studying at Le Mans University and the École Supérieure de Commerce de La Rochelle, Charles-Evan Hary immediately started work in the world of sport. In 2011, he joined the Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O., the company behind a wide range of events, including the Tour de France), where he spent seven years in the Marketing and Partnerships department, working his way up to various managerial roles.
At the beginning of 2019, he moved to the Six Day Series in London, where he handled the organisation of different track cycling events, and in June 2021 he was hired by Santini as Sponsorship Manager for France. This role saw him overseeing the implementation of partnership agreements with A.S.O. for more than 15 events, including the Tour de France, Paris–Roubaix and Paris–Nice.
Beyond France, Santini also boasts long-standing subsidiaries in Spain, the UK and the United States of America. Meanwhile, in the rest of the world, Santini relies on a network of distributors. In total, the brand is present in 60 countries.
