Ekoï becomes long-term partner of the PTO Tour

Ekoï has signed a three-year collaboration with the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO), as the first official helmet and eyewear partner of the PTO Tour.

The partnership between the cycling & triathlon equipment brand and the event organiser will begin at the PTO US Open in Milwaukee on August 4-5, 2023.

The collaboration aims to promote triathlon generally and to increase awareness of Ekoï internationally. The French accessories brand will undertaje activations at all races of the PTO Tour and will also be involved in the creation of co-branded products.

Ekoï has had pro triathlete ambassador contracts with a number of stars in the PTO Tour for a number of years, including: Patrick Lange, Anne Haug, Rudy Von Berg, Frederick Funk and Ben Hoffman, as well as French athletes Léo Bergère and Pierre Le Corre.

The PTO Tour airs live in 195 territories around the world, thanks to broadcast partnerships with Warner Bros Discovery and a host of other international, regional and local broadcasters including DAZN, beIN Sports and SPOTV.

Sam Renouf, CEO of PTO, said “Ekoï is one of the most exciting and respected brands in the pro cycling peloton but also in triathlon, so we are honoured to welcome Ekoï as a long-term partner of the PTO Tour.

“They were immediately taken with the innovative nature of the PTO Tour and our ambition to make it the ‘premier’ triathlon world tour. As they are already supporting a number of top professionals in the PTO, they were also excited about the storytelling opportunities and activities we could work on together as we look to grow through 2024.”

Jean-Christophe Rattel, Ekoï Founder, said “This new partnership agreement with the PTO is further proof of the Ekoï brand’s attachment to the world of triathlon. It will offer worldwide visibility in the discipline.”

The 2023 PTO Tour kicked off with two races at the inaugural PTO European Open in Ibiza, Spain, on May 6 and is now heading to Milwaukee, USA, for the PTO US Open on August 4-5 and Singapore for the first-ever PTO Asian Open on August 19-20.
