The Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has announced haku as the presenting partner for The Running Conference, which will now be known as ‘The Running Conference presented by haku’.
The Running Conference 2023 (#TRC23) is the annual conference for members of the Running Industry Alliance (RIA) and takes place from December 10-12, 2023 at Loughborough University, UK.
Originally founded in 2013, haku has been a long-time presence at the Running USA industry conference and is now turning its attention to the RIA’s conference in the UK. Drawing inspiration from the founder’s Peruvian heritage, the name haku originates from Quechua, the language spoken by the Incas in Peru, and means ‘Go Do!’.
The Running Conference 2023 presented by haku features content specifically curated for RIA members. The content will focus on the areas such as: the marketplace; diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB); health and wellbeing; research, data and insights; and sustainability. The conference has a mix of speakers, panels, workshops, round table discussions, activations, celebrations and industry networking.
haku offers an all-in-one technology ecosystem to assist event organizations and non-profits. Jackie Levi, Co-Founder at haku, said “We are thrilled to be the presenting partner for The Running Conference and a newly minted member of RIA.
“The commitment RIA has to providing exceptional experiences and resources to its members resonates with who haku is at our core – a leading industry partner dedicated to the success of those we serve and the industry at large. Our partnership with RIA and The Running Conference allows both organizations to broaden the stage in which we deliver that powerful promise.”
RIA Co-Leads Rebecca Richardson and Jonathan Midwood said “We are excited to announce haku as the presenting partner for The Running Conference. This is an exciting collaboration that we all knew was a perfect partnership as soon as we had our first contact together.
“haku is built on the belief that we are stronger together – which is exactly how RIA, RIA members and alliance partners feel and operate, supporting collaboration and moving forward together as a connected industry. We are looking forward to making this a successful, meaningful and purposeful partnership for everyone involved, and to supporting the evolution and growth of The Running Conference for all.”
