Donations, fundraising and event registration tech firm Enthuse and The Great Run Company have extended their partnership until 2027. Expanding on an initial three-year partnership from 2022-24, Enthuse will now be the official online fundraising partner for a further three years.
The latest agreement will see Enthuse continue its work as the official online fundraising partner for the full portfolio of AJ Bell Great Run Series events, including the world’s largest half marathon, the AJ Bell Great North Run.
Since 2022, The Great Run Company and Enthuse have introduced co-branded fundraising pages that aim to put charities centre stage, and help good causes to build a stronger relationship with their donors.
Enthuse ensures every AJ Bell Great Run Series entrant has the opportunity to create a fundraising page with the process directly linked to event registration; meaning runners can start raising money immediately.
Fundraising pages are also equipped with a Strava integration, the opportunity to live stream, share photos and videos, and the ability to personalise the fundraising story. All of this is provided free of any subscription charges to help charities raise funds.
Charities can also access insights, analytics and live fundraising and donations data for their supporters to ensure their reporting is accurate and up to date. Additionally, in 2023, Enthuse announced integrations with Beacon, Donorfy and Salesforce, giving charities the ability to pull their fundraising data into their chosen CRM platform.
Chester Mojay-Sinclare, CEO & Founder at Enthuse said “We’re delighted to be continuing to support Great Run with its full portfolio of events for the long term.
“When we started working together in 2022, we set out to transform mass events with our unique approach, providing a dedicated platform for each event. The extension of this partnership is a testament to the great strides we’ve made so far and it’s fantastic to have Great Run place their belief in our charity first approach.”
“It’s partnerships like these that make Enthuse the home of mass events in the UK and we’re determined to use this opportunity to help charities raise more and build stronger relationships with their supporters.”
Nicky Homes, Commercial Director at The Great Run Company, said “We’re incredibly proud that so many people take part in Great Run events to raise money for good causes.
“Over the past four decades, our events have been a vehicle for personal achievement but also collective generosity. Enthuse shares our drive to maximise fundraising but also to deliver the best possible experience for everyone involved from charities, to fundraisers and supporters.
“Taking part in a Great Run event is a unique experience and we’re working hard to ensure that attending is as memorable and enjoyable as possible. We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Enthuse, whose commitment to delivering the best possible online fundraising experience has been clear from day one.”
