The Palais de la Mediterranee in Nice, France, is hosting the inaugural Global Triathlon Awards (GTAs) this evening (Friday, January 20th).
The GTAs ceremony is being staged by Super League Triathlon, PTO, World Triathlon, France’s Department 06 and Ekoi. The aim is for the sport of triathlon’s biggest names to celebrate and recognise outstanding contributions.
Will McCloy and Paula Radcliffe will host a ceremony at one of France’s most exclusive venues.
Among the awards being handed out are the best male and female triathlete, lifetime kudos awards and recognition for top products from across the sport.
All but the kudos awards were nominated by the public, with a judging panel then whittling down the shortlist and picking the final winners. For 2023, the panel included Jordan Blanco, Stephane Diagana, Emma-Kate Lidbury, Tim Don and Chelsea Burns.
The GTAs will be streamed live on Super League Triathlon’s YouTube channel, on TriathlonLIVE and PTO+ from 19:00 CET.
