Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT), which offers travel packages for runners, is opening an office in China. This offers Chinese runners the chance to travel the globe to participate in some of the world’s most famous marathons – including the BMW Berlin-Marathon, Sydney Marathon and the Paris Marathon.
Pre-Covid, China was the world’s largest marathon running market, and is seen by the MTT team as a huge driving force in ongoing global growth and development.
Chinese runners and their supporters can book their race packages on the new MarathonToursCN WeChat mini-programme (Chinese only) while the detailed content can be viewed on the newly launched bilingual website.
According to MTT, this will provide a seamless process from the moment of booking, right through to taking part in the event itself. MTT is introducing the Seven Continents Club to Chinese runners.
With over 30 years of experience within the travel and event industry, Kris Van Goethem has been appointed MTT Managing Director for China.
