The Pho3nix Foundation, founded by Polish businessman and philanthropist Sebastian Kulczyk, has become a new sponsor of IRONMAN events in Poland and the Czech Republic.
As part of an agreement with event organiser Sport Evolution, the foundation becomes the title partner of IRONKIDS, which accompanies IRONMAN events in Warsaw, Gdynia, Poznań and Hradec Králové.
The Pho3nix Foundation supports local and regional triathlon competitions across the world. It also organizes sports camps for children and teenagers, and cooperates with elite athletes, including: Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee, Nicola Spirig and Vincent Louis.
The Pho3nix Foundation was also the originator and implementer of the Sub7 – Sub8 project, which set the fastest results in the history of iron distance triathlon.
Wojciech Kruczyński, member of the board at the Pho3nix Foundation, said “Creating a global heritage where sport and activity are an integral part of the personal development of all young people is our mission.
“The IRONKIDS competition perfectly fits our goals because it contributes to the popularization of sports among children and teenagers. We are happy that together with the organizers of the IRONMAN competition in Poland and the Czech Republic we will be able to promote our values.

Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw is set for the weekend of June 7-9, 2024. Nearly 2,000 athletes from a range of countries are expected to descend on the Polish capital. Races on offer include the 70.3 distance as well as the Olympic distance of 5150 Warsaw (1.5km swim – 40km bike – 10 km runn)
Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia is on the weekend of August 2-4, 2024. In addition to the IRONMAN 70.3 race and a Olympic distance race, the 4:18:4 Gdynia powered by Sportano.pl features 0.4 km swimming – 18 km cycling – 4 km running.
August 18, 2024 sees the first edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic. This will feature race distances similar to those in Warsaw. The Czech race will see athletes swimming in the Elbe River, cycling through Bohemia, and running stage in the city centre.
Back in Poland, Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań on August 30 to September 1, 2024 will be the last stop of IRONMAN racing in Poland – with IRONMAN 70.3 and Olympic distances on offer.
At all four events there will be an IRONKIDS competition. In Warsaw, Hradec Králové and Poznań they will take the form of short runs. In Gdynia, the youngest athletes will compete in an aquathlon. Registration for IRONKIDS will open on January 9, 2024, on the SlotMarket.pl website.
